This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or place an order from educativetech.com or canvaslms.co.za (the “Site”).

PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED FOR THE CANVAS MODULES BUILDER APP
When using the Canvas Modules Builder app we collect:
– Contact information provided by the party signing up on behalf of the institution.
– The unique user ID’s provided by Canvas to the app.
What we do not collect or store outside of the browser session in which the app is used:
– Any course content entered into the Canvas Modules Builder app.
– Any other personally identifiable information other than the unique user ID provided by Canvas to the app.
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
– “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org. – “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps. – “Web beacons,” “tags,” and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.
Additionally, when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site or make a payment through the site or otherwise, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information.” However, we do not collect sensitive payment information like credit card numbers. We rely on reputable third party payment processors to securely handle your credit card details and any other sensitive payment information.

DATA SECURITY
Appropriate security measures are in place to avoid your Personal Information from being accidentally erased, appropriated or accessed, altered or disclosed in a way which was not authorised by us. When you place an order through the Site or use the Canvas Modules Builder app, we will maintain your contact, user ID and Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
